Based in Fife, Scotland and playing across the UK and Worldwide, Skyrie is a 3-5 piece band of
experienced traditional musicians, with a professional approach and a passion for great
dynamic music and creativity. They have lifted traditional Scottish ceildh music to a higher level
with innovative twists of their own, adding their own contemporary tunewriting into the mix.
Skyrie have performed at the prestigious Celtic Connections Festival among others, at city wide
holiday celebrations such as the Dundee Christmas Hooley in the town square, and globally at
special occasions in cities such as Budapest , Cyprus,the British Embassy in Kuwait, and even
on film.
